Does furniture affect mood? Maybe so. Neuroaesthetics studies how shapes, colors and textures influence our brain, confirming the deep connection between aesthetics, well-being and emotions. And, consequently, also on our home. The home also features some early prototypes on the studio’s PARISII sculptural furniture collection. Let’s find out what it is and how to incorporate it into your home.

Set within a Spanish Colonial home, Stephanie Parisi’s world was formed by a daily conversation between history and contemporary life: courtyard architecture, artisan-made details, collected objects, and a collection called PARISII. The home was also the setting of her studio, where ideas were imagined, drawn, and brought to life. Became the basis for her PARISII Collection

“What intrigues me and draws me to the creative process is its ability to engage those who experience a space on an emotional level,” says designer Stephanie Parisi. Her Philosophy is based on an understanding of both the aesthetic appeal of art and also its power to support a client’s own sense of self-expression.

“My fiancé and I lived at the coast in Del Mar and had taken a staycation at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe,” recalls Stephanie Parisi. “Staying in the heart of the town for a few days inspired us to look for a home in that area. After searching for over a year, one morning I saw an intriguing listing for a property in the newspaper and arranged a visit for that afternoon.”
